Kirsty Hastie Smith – Honorary Secretary
Kirsty has been a member of the Bangkok St Andrew’s Society for 20 years and
this is her 19th year on the committee. She arrived in Bangkok as a highland
dancer and bagpiper, and eventually turned her hand to tenor drumming with
the British Club Pipe Band. Kirsty took on the role of Chieftain in 2010-11. She
is a former pupil of The Mary Erskine School in Edinburgh and studied Art
History at The University of St Andrew’s. Life as a teacher took her overseas
and eventually to Bangkok.
